What are the areas of employment and working hours of a Pathology Lab Technician?

After the successful completion of the course, the certified pathology lab technicians are employed in donation facilities, hospitals, physician offices, laboratories, and other healthcare settings.  Some technicians also visit the residence of patients for blood sample collection. Within independent laboratories and big hospitals, operating 24x7, pathology lab technicians work in a day, night, and evening shifts and may also be required to work on holidays and weekends. On the other hand, technicians working in smaller facilities work in rotational shifts and may either work as full time or part-time employees.
